Bunnings! The source of hardware for the everyday Aussie. Wether you’re buying a hook for that one off print that you’ll probably never get straight on the trophy wall, or the last nail in a large renovation. We love it! And despite all the renovation arguments over the duck blue or sky paint for the first baby’s room, there is one thing we can agree on. The Bunnings Sausage Sizzle is always a winner!

The Aussie Aid Crew recently turned over some tasty sausages on a grilling 36 degree day! It was hard work but we raised just over $1600!

More recently, a few ladies got their baking on, cooked up a storm and took over the main entrance of Bunnings with their tasty sugar filled goodness! The humble and most delicious lamington helped us raise over $800!

It might not seem like much. But for the person in need, the family that is struggling to make ends meet, it makes a difference. A difference that brings hope and helps to kick over another day when it all feels too hard.

So Aussie Aid supporters, once again THANK YOU! Be it one Bunnings sausage at a time or your donations of all different amounts. You're making a difference, you’re changing lives!

COMING UP

Illawarra Community Care has a Bunnings BBQ in December. Funds raised will be allocated towards “back to school packs”. Each pack is estimated to cost $100 and will consist of a high quality school backpack, lunch box, pencil case, and other items needed for return to school for primary aged students. Local families will be identified by the school and referred for support.
